FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Here you can find the most important questions and answers about betterview. If your question cannot be answered here, please feel free to contact us.

What is the difference to a "normal" laser eye treatment?

Pre-examination, main examination, treatment and follow-up usually take place on different days.

What do I need to pay attention to?

Since all the steps in the half-day premium treatment take place in direct succession, it is quite possible that you will have a little pain for a few hours after the treatment. Also, in this case you will not have sharp vision immediately after the treatment. Since the pupils are dilated during the half-day premium treatment, it is possible that you will be somewhat sensitive to light until the evening. You will also feel a slight foreign body sensation afterwards, which is a good sign. This means that your eyes are in the healing phase and everything is normal. This feeling lasts for a few hours after the treatment.

What can/should I expect?

In the case of the half-day premium treatment, it may well take up to seven days until you have achieved your final result in terms of "sharpness". So don't be surprised if you are not at 100% vision or more the next morning.

What if I am not treatable?

As with normal laser eye treatment, we perform all relevant examinations at the beginning. Should you not be treatable, you will of course not incur any costs.

For which age group is laser eye treatment an option?

Basically, about 98% of 18- to 45-year-olds are eligible for laser eye treatment. In some circumstances, laser correction is also possible for people over 45 years of age. As a rule, however, the replacement of the lenses is preferable from this age. We offer this as well. Which treatment method is actually suitable for you will be clarified and discussed in detail in our free and non-binding examinations.

How and when do I pay?

You pay conveniently by card on site. If you want to pay differently, it is best to contact us directly in advance. Before you pay for your laser vision correction, we make sure in the examinations that you are also treatable.
